Goofs

When Marion discovers Jimmy’s body, the ice skate has made a clean cut into his face. However, an ice skate would shatter the skull and cause a jagged incision.

Molly and Sarah are watching Scream 2 in their dorm room. The original Scream film clearly establishes Halloween as a fictional movie, and even features clips from the movie in it.

As Laurie roams the halls for Michael, the wound on her shoulder is visible before he drops from the pipe to attack her.

Trivia

Dimension Films and Jamie Lee Curtis were both in favour of killing Michael Myers for good at the film’s conclusion, but Moustapha Akkad notably balked at the idea, as he refused to let Michael die.

With a run time of 86 minutes, Halloween H20 is the shortest Halloween film in the franchise, eclipsing the record that had just been set three years earlier by The Curse of Michael Myers.

Laurie Strode was supposed to walk by the actor Mike Myers during the lunchtime scenes, but the actor declined to do a cameo.

Alternate Versions

While not as intense as its predecessor, Halloween H20 features a workprint and a television cut. Though the television version features alternate footage and deleted scenes, the workprint is rather close to the film’s final cut. In addition, the film also features some deleted scenes that have never surfaced, and some that may have been filmed.
