Plans for Halloween 9: Retribution, a follow-up to 2002’s Halloween Resurrection, had proceeded as per normal following the film’s release. Unfortunately, the film was eventually put on hold and cancelled following the unfortunate death of executive producer Moustapha Akkad. This is the first draft written by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble.
